James Bond Pop Up Channel on Movistar

In celebration of the 55th Anniversary of ‘Agente 007 contra el Dr. No’ (1962), Spanish television station Movistar has announced the launch of the ‘James Bond Pop-Up’ Channel (Movistar + 30) at 8:00PM on Friday, 25 August, 2017 until Sunday, 10 September, 2017.

Movistar James Bond will be available to all Movistar + premium customers, and will also be available to stream on their on demand service.

The channel will broadcast the 24 official films produced by EON, as well as ‘Never Say Never Again’, behind-the-scenes featurettes and documentaries. ‘SPECTRE’ is available to watch on Movistar Estrenos and on demand.

Foxtel to Launch James Bond Pop Up Channel

007 LogoFoxtel Movies are set to showcase a stunning collection of James Bond films on an exclusive Bond pop-up channel in August.

The pop-up will broadcast a stellar lineup of 24 movies in the iconic series from EON Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM), plus two additional movies, the James Bond spoof ‘Casino Royale’ (1967) and ‘Never Say Never Again’ (1983).

Featuring all the great actors who have played the beloved 007 character; Sean Connery, George Lazenby, David Niven, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, the collection will be available to Foxtel Movies and Foxtel Platinum subscribers, from Friday, August 11 to Sunday, August 20, 2017.

The ten-day movie marathon will launch with the first film in the Bond series released 55 years ago, ‘Dr No’ and will run through to the very latest Bond film and box office smash, ‘SPECTRE’.

The Bond pop-up channel will be available in HD (to those subscribed to HD pack) for Foxtel Movies and Foxtel Platinum subscribers on channel 400. Channel 400 is now home to a series of hugely popular and exclusive pop-up movie events and is also available to stream on Foxtel Now.

The Bond pop-up movies will also be available to watch from Foxtel’s on demand library, or streamed on demand on Foxtel’s streaming service, Foxtel Now.

‘Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond’ to Air on Zee Café

At the Asia Pay TV Operators Summit (APOS) in Bali, Indonesia, BBC Worldwide announced a deal that will bring premium British drama to India’s leading English GEC channel. BBC First will air as a block on Zee Café to viewers thoughout India during prime time, premiering on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00PM.

Included in the block is ‘Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond‘, and ‘SS-GB’ from James Bond screenwriting duo Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, adapted from Len Deighton’s bestselling thriller of the same name.
